London Borough of Haringey
Haringey manage over 26 allotment sites covering just over 76 acres of land, with over 1600 people leasing their allotments, growing anything from peas to prize roses. A standard plot is 10 poles (approximately 10yds by 30yds).

Anyone can lease a plot for an annual fee - the average being £70.56 per year - but Haringey residents do get priority over those living outside the borough. Because of demand there is a long waiting list for plots on all sites, so you may have to wait some time before you are offered a place.

The daily management of some Haringey allotment sites are managed by site secretaries. Others are managed directly by the council.
